I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer living and working in Calgary, Alberta. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Design with an Industrial Design focus. Currently, I have been working as a designer and more recently as Art Director for film productions in Alberta. While not fulfilling duties for movies, designing assets for clients and corporations, instructing as artist-in-residence in elementary schools, or illustrating children’s books, I enjoy drawing, painting and multimedia both traditionally and digitally.

As a young child, I was always curious in trying to capture things visually, both from things I saw in the real world and inside my imagination. This interest lead me to experiment in re-creating those visions two- dimensionally. I played with many different mediums but I always returned to drawing as my first love. Drawing allows me to capture what I envision quickly and effectively. From my sketches, I push these ideas to see how far they can go. It is the process that motivates and inspires me to keep making art.
