Born in Italy and currently residing in Calgary, Alberta. Frank is a self-taught sculptor who began carving with rock in 2006. A beautifully sculpted bear created by a B.C. artist inspired him to take a closer look at the art of “Sculpting with rock”. Twelve years later he’s created 1000+ sculptures focusing on several rock types, Serpentine, African Opal, Marble, and Anhydrite. Frank prides himself on always making improvements and finding new uses for the rock he works with. He enjoys exploring for new rock to sculpt with and to use as bases for his Sculptures.
